The Input Expansion Module features 8 universal sensor inputs - each input can be individually configured to measure analogue signals, frequency signals or to measure the signal from Stack’s proprietary DSP interface modules. Each input can be recorded at up to 200Hz.
A data logging system can support up to 10 Input Expansion modules (80 direct sensor inputs). These modules can be connected in any order on the Stack CANBus network, which means that - in a vehicle application for example - the modules can be distributed around the vehicle close to the components to be monitored and thus minimise harness lengths and weight.
Sensors and interfaces are connected to the module through a 19 way MIL spec connector.
